What is Metaverse?

You might have heard of metaverse. So, in this blog I'm gonna discuss about metaverse. Let's get straight into it

Metaverse is nothing but a Virtual 3D platform where people, communities, places, friends etc interact together. Metaverse is not fully in existence but there are some platforms which gives you a feel of Metaverse let's discuss about this later . For this virtual world you'll need VR headsets to experience it. Sounds great right? You can even customize your avatar using virtual currencies like the cryptos. You can visit  different places like shops, houses, parks etc. Also we can play games together even you can eat virtual food (lol). In this whole new world you can even get a job and work!!

What is crypto currency?

It is nothing but a digital currency. The word “crypto” in cryptocurrency refers to the special system of encrypting and decrypting information. There are different type of crypto currencies are Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Monero, Ripple. BitCoin is the first cryptocurrency that was invented using blockchain technology also with a price per coin of more than $38,000 USD as of June 2021. It is used to sell, trade and invest. It is authorized and safe mode of transaction.

How is crypto currency suitable for Metaverse?

Crypto currencies are better suited because they are encrypted and has governance. So, to show ownership towards the things which we buy in the virtual land we use crypto's as proof for transactions also it gives us a safe feel and secure way of showing ownership.

What is a job in Metaverse and how does it work?

You will be able to enter a 3D office and interact with your colleagues’ avatars. Your job may also be metaverse related and provide you with income directly usable in the metaverse. Yet, we exactly don't know what kind of job may come to existence in Metaverse. 

What are the example of metaverse currently we know?

Roblox:

Roblox is it's own metaverse with a different type of currency called Robux it is also a digital currency like the crypto you can play this game for free and using any kind of device including VR headsets, consoles, mobile and pc in this game you can create and build your own game, customize your avatar, play game also create texture pack, decals, T-shirts and shirts etc. By creating game you can even earn by number of players visiting your game and buying in-game products and passes. You can interact with players, chat, hangout, roleplay and more! This is one of my favorite game which I suggest you to play..

Facebook recently changed its name to "Meta" because the company's ambitions is to build the "metaverse." Microsoft and Nvidia are also working on their own versions of the metaverse. It has been observed that Facebook has building the metaverse . And for that, it has invested heavily in VR through its Oculus headsets.
